(excerpt)Self-initiated, animated music video section for cook&jango’s “Don’t Try”. The song’s laidback looping was the foundation for the concept, with my approach not necessarily trying, but to draw and animate roughly and intuitively. I wanted to experiment more with straightforward narrative animation and there isn’t much else other than a guy chilling at a bus stop, gets bird poop in his eye, and turns into a bird. Included are some cool, fun colors, and an incessant, scattering, overlaid texture.
